Medical Billing Specialist:
La Crosse, Wisconsin Office  &  Eau Claire Wisconsin offices

Charge & payment posting and account follow up

Hospital and office based practices alike rely on us as a trusted medical billing partner.

As a result of recent client expansion, The Cvikota Company has opened an additional job opportunity in the Medical Billing department within our La Crosse office. Those who excel in our fast paced Medical Billing office have the mindset of a team player, excellent data entry skills, and a goal oriented attitude will find this an excellent place to work. Experience with medical terminology a plus, while interest in long-term employment is a must. Healthcare administration or data entry experience preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate who will fit with our office culture!

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Data Entry - Patient Registration and Charge Entry
  • Customer Service - Answering phones and assisting with patient questions, by mail or phone
  • Follow up of insurance inquiries
  • Daily posting of remittance and reconciliation of payments

Skills that will assist you:

  • Strong and accurate typing skills
  • 10 key calculator
  • Good communication and phone skills

Operations Support:
La Crosse, Wisconsin Office

We're looking for smart, capable people who want to do something different. We're a regional medical billing company with offices in Eau Claire, La Crosse and Rice Lake Wisconsin with an opening for Operations Support in our operations/credentialing department. If you're a strong learner, our Operations Support role could be a great fit for you! You'll learn a lot about the business side of healthcare, and do work that helps preserve healthcare choice. Work that matters!

Those who excel in our fast paced Medical Billing office have the mindset of a team player, attention to detail, and a goal oriented attitude and will find this an excellent place to work. Experience with medical terminology and credentialing is a plus, while interest in long-term employment is a must. Healthcare administration or data entry experience preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate who will fit with our office culture!

Responsibilities of Operations Support will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Complete steps for inbound and outbound claims processing
  • Confirm receipt of claims by clearinghouse and payers, and monitor claims for submission errors
  • Oversee intake processes and confirm data is clean and available to users
  • Complete and submit provider credentialing applications, and follow-up to confirm acceptance into networks
  • Report credentialing projects’ progress to the Billing Manager
  • Assist IT Department in supporting end user workstation set up, deployment and maintenance

Credentialing Specialist - Part Time:
La Crosse or Eau Claire Wisconsin Offices

If you are organized, like researching and completing projects, being CvikotaMBS’ Credentialing Specialist could be a great fit for you! You'll learn a lot about the business side of healthcare, and do work that helps preserve healthcare choice. Work that matters!

Credentialing is a vital role in revenue cycle management and those who excel in our fast-paced medical billing office need to have the mindset of a team player, attention to detail, and a goal-oriented attitude. Experience with credentialing is a plus, while interest in long-term employment is a must. Healthcare administration or data entry experience is preferred, but not required. We’re willing to train the right candidate who will fit with our office culture!

Responsibilities of the Credentialing Specialist will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Complete and submit provider credentialing applications, and follow-up to confirm acceptance into networks
  • Work with Billing Manager to prioritize credentialing and privileging projects
  • Report credentialing projects’ progress to the Billing Manager
  • Maintain up to date credentialing profiles in specified software, including credential projects, payer profiles and contacts
  • Maintain CAQH profiles as required Skills that will assist you as Credentialing Specialist:
